News about development plans
The Summer Badgers League for U15s has arrived, and we have entered a Boys team (Whitchurch A) and a Girls team (Whitchurch B), following the success of the girls U15s during the season and their appetite for more junior hockey games. The format for Badgers is that sides can play up to two senior players in order to give structure and guidance on the pitch.
For anyone wanting to do a L1 Umpiring award Chester hockey club are holding a course on 18/01/15.

Its rare that we get courses run as close as this so please make use of it. If you fancy going can you let the secretary know and we can arrange car sharing if a number are interested.

At the moment we have thunder and lightning and heavy rain over Whitchurch, a BBC Weather forecast which says it will go on all day and a Met Office severe weather warning about flash flooding!
Due to the the above and the current condition of the pitch we have decided to cancel todays session.

Following on from the huge success of last year Whitchurch Hockey club are starting Back2Hockey sessions on Saturday May 10th 2014 for eight weekends at the Whitchurch Leisure centre, SY13 2BY from 10.00 to 11.30, and its free!
Back2Hockey is a national promotion by England Hockey that will be run across the whole county aimed at giving adults who have never played or have played the opportunity to return to the game. It is run by qualified coaches and all equipment apart from shin pads are provided.
Our Hockey Academy also continues to run through the summer and will take place for children from 6 to 13 from 10.00 to 11.30 Saturday mornings.
