Whitchurch Hockey – Girls Under 14s win league
Whitchurch Hockey continues to celebrate their 16/17 season.
The Academy continues to develop players of the highest standard and this has resulted in the Girls Under 14 team having won the Shropshire league this weekend.
They completed their success winning all three games, William Brookes (won 6-0), Shrewsbury (won 2-1) & Ludlow (won 1-0)
Whitchurch Hockey Academy continues to run summer sessions from 29 April to 15th July 2017 for junior players who have played or are new to the sport from 10.00 to 11.30 Saturday morning at the Sir John Talbots Leisure centre.

Sainsburys Active Sports vouchers 2017 has started
The Sainsbury Active Sports scheme has now started from 25 January until 2 May 2017.
Could you collect them from friends and family and return to your captains or committee members?
Your suport will allow us to obtain much needed equipment for the Academy.

Junior Development Centres @ Whitchurch – Autumn 2016
Setup around the country by England Hockey as a player pathway for those looking to progress from club into county and higher.
Available to boys & girls born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006
Held Wednesdays nights : 17.00 to 18:30 @ Sir John Talbot School
on 14th Sept, 21st Sept, 28th Sept, 5th Oct & 12th Oct.
The JDC’s are designed to attract players from around the surrounding area and are not constrained by county boundaries so you can attend the closest session to where you live.
