Aldi Taste for Sports

Whitchurch Hockey club are pleased to be part of the Aldi Taste for Sport promotion.

This campaign is currently being promoted in all ALDI stores, from June 19th – 31st of July 2023.

Customers have until September to claim their voucher, and until March 2024 to book in with their chosen venue and enjoy their session.

ELIGIBILITY & CLAIM JOURNEY

  • Eligible ALDI sites/whitchurch-hockey-club/wp-contenters will be required to spend over £30 in store
  • Customers will claim via the ALDI ‘a taste for sport’ promotional website; freesportssessions.aldi.co.uk
  • Once validated, sites/whitchurch-hockey-club/wp-contenters can browse the National Sports Network and select a venue in order to claim their session
  • Customers selecting your venue will be directed to claim this by emailing the secretary at secretary@whitchurchhockeyclub.com to arrange a session.

Ladies 1s receive league winners awards

Congratulations to the Ladies 1s who picked up their award for winning North West Womens Division 4 South (Central) at the league presentations in Warrington on 19th July.

The ladies 1s completed a successful and unbeaten season to secure promotion.

Under 16 – University of Birmingham Hockey Club Coaching Sessions – June 2023

University of Birmingham Hockey Club are running coaching sessions throughout June 2023.

These sessions will be led by current members of the University of Birmingham Hockey Club Women’s 1st Team, with multiple players achieving international junior and senior caps from a range of nations, including England & GB, USA, and South Africa.

Below are the dates that we will run sessions throughout June. The sessions will be held on the Bournbrook Pitches at the University of Birmingham, and are available to anyone under the age of 16. Please respond to the date(s) your children would like to attend, providing their name and age.

Sunday 11th June, 9-11am

Sunday 18th June, 9-11 am

Sunday 25th June, 9-11 am

The cost will be £10 per person per session.

Please confirm attendance for the first session (11th June) by Thursday 8th June
